Some Of Our Favorite Makeup Products Right Now

Our top picks for makeup essentials, featuring bold lipsticks, nourishing skin tints, and high-volume mascaras

Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint (left) in shade Medium Plus, Les Beiges Water-Complexion Touch (right) in shade B40 – $70.00 at www.chanel.com

We’ve selected some of our favorite makeup products for this still life series, captured by photographer Aaron Cameron Muntz. Two complexion standouts are Chanel’s Water-Fresh Tint and Water-Complexion Touch. Both feature pigments suspended in a 75% water-based gel formula, which keeps skin hydrated while delivering a natural, bare-skin look. Despite their lightweight feel, these products provide buildable light to medium coverage with a healthy glow. Start by applying the Water-Fresh Tint all over your face, using your fingertips or the included brush, and then follow up with the Water-Complexion Touch to conceal and perfect specific areas.

ShiseidoPOP PowderGel Eyeshadow (while supplies last) in shade Doki Red – $22.00, YANE HAKE PRECISION EYE BRUSH – $24.00 , NAMANE FUDE – $28.00 and hanen fude EYE SHADING BRUSH -$ 26.00  at www.shiseido.com

Grab Shiseido’s POP PowderGel Eyeshadows while you still can, as they’re soon to be discontinued. The hybrid powder-gel formula glides on smoothly and delivers intense pigment. These shadows contain film-forming polymers, which create a flexible base for long-lasting wear.

For precise application, use the Yane Hake Precision Eye Brush (bottom) to line the eyes. To soften lines and contour the creases, opt for the Namane Fude Multi Eye Brush (middle). For blending and diffusing pigment on the lower and upper lash lines, the Hanen Fude Eye Shading Brush (top) works perfectly.

Tom Ford – Shade & Illuminate Blush Duo in shade Sundrunk (left) and Cherry Blaze (right) – $90.00 at www.tomfordbeauty.com

Tom Ford‘s Shade & Illuminate Blush Duo, formulated with rice silk powder, offers long-lasting color with a light-reflecting finish. Each duo features a semi-matte powder and a highlighting powder in complementary shades, allowing you to customize both color and finish. You can use the powders individually to highlight or sculpt, or blend them together for a versatile, tailored look. We love the adaptability of this blush duo!

Saie – Slip Tint in shade 3 – $36.00, Lip Blur in shade Modern – $24.00 at www.saiehello.com

One of our current favorite lipsticks is the Lip Blur by clean beauty brand Saie. Formulated with nourishing ingredients like Jojoba Esters, Olive Oil, Berry Fruit Wax, and Hyaluronic Acid, it hydrates, nourishes, and—as the name suggests—blurs the lips. This lipstick delivers full coverage and glides on smoothly. For a softer, more natural look, start by applying to the center of your lips and blend outward.

We also love their Slip Tint. It doubles as a moisturizer and helps even out your complexion while providing mineral sun protection. Packed with skin-loving ingredients, it hydrates, brightens, and plumps the skin. On no-makeup days, Slip Tint is an easy go-to for a fresh, radiant look.

Yves Saint Laurent – (From left to right) Sequin Crush Eyeshadow (discontinued)- $33.00, Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara in shade 1 overnoir  – $32.00, Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick in shade 304 Beige Instinct – $48.00, Crushliner in shade 01 Noir Intense – $32.00 at www.yslbeautyus.com

Yves Saint Laurent’s Lash Clash mascara delivers an impressive 200% buildable volume boost with up to 24 hours of smudge-proof wear. Its double conical brush lifts and shapes each lash with ease. For added lift and isolation, use the brush vertically, or apply in zigzag motions to extend and curl. The formula also includes Iris Florentina extract, sourced from YSL’s Ourika Community Garden in Morocco, to keep lashes soft and healthy with continued use. We love pairing it with the waterproof Crushliner in Noir Intense for a bold, long-lasting look.
