Cartier is redefining the fragrance ritual with its latest launch: Les Bases à Parfumer. This innovative collection, led by Cartier’s in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent, brings customization to the forefront, allowing consumers to control the intensity of their scent experience, drop by drop. The new range includes unscented bases—a body oil and a cream—paired with alcohol-free concentrated perfumes, giving fragrance enthusiasts the freedom to craft their own unique scenting routine.

Laurent’s vision for Les Bases à Parfumer is to create a fragrance ritual tailored to modern tastes, emphasizing personalization and simplicity. Customers can apply the fragrance directly onto pulse points or mix it with either the body oil or cream to achieve their preferred scent strength. “Les Bases à Parfumer offer a fragrance ritual that is true to our times: the freedom to do it yourself, for yourself, whatever your desires,” Laurent said, highlighting the creative possibilities of this collection.

The collection’s centerpiece is Peregrina oil, an ingredient sourced from Saudi Arabia’s AI-’Ula region. This oil is known for its rich moisturizing properties and is featured in all three products. Cartier affirms the ingredient is ethically sourced in line with the Maison’s standards, ensuring luxury without compromise.

The Huile Pure is a standout product in this collection, crafted exclusively from Peregrina oil. This versatile oil can be used on the face, body, and hair, delivering a luminous, satiny finish. The 100ml flacon, made by Waltersperger, stands out for its craftsmanship, including a three-part mold and manual polishing. Decorated with Cartier’s iconic gadroon detailing, the bottle is metallized in gold, achieving a striking aesthetic that blends tradition and innovation.

The Crème Pure continues the design story with a transparent glass jar featuring a gold anodized lid, engraved with the Cartier name. The cream itself is made with over 97% natural-origin ingredients, offering a luxurious experience that aligns with sustainability. Meanwhile, the Gouttes de Parfum Concentré brings fragrance intensity to another level with its 50% perfume concentrate mixed with Peregrina oil. Available in four classic Cartier scents, just one drop of this alcohol-free perfume oil delivers an intense and long-lasting fragrance.

With prices ranging from €83 to €240, Cartier offers an elevated, customizable fragrance experience—one that allows consumers to engage with scent in a personal way.
