Yesterday, during Paris Haute Couture week, Viktor & Rolf have announced a brand new fragrance called Bonbon. A perfume that , as the name suggests, smells sugary sweet . So sweet in fact, that you ‘d like to take a bite . That sweet smell is due to the ingredients : caramel notes , mandarin , orange and peach .
For the advertising campaign Viktor & Rolf tapped Lithuanian supermodel Edita Vilkeviciute and the famous Dutch photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin . ” She embodies the female form or Bonbon ‘s timeless sensation as she was entranced in a moment of absolute pleasure “
Edita was interviewed after the show about the perfume campaign and said : ‘No , I’m not naked , I’m wearing the perfume . It’s like a tattoo . I love nudity . I think the human body is really beautiful , but I have never done anything like this before , I did not want to take it off . ” Interesting detail : it took eight hours to put Edita in the paint .
