Thierry Mugler have launched their Les Liqueurs de Parfums limited edition collection for Fall 2013. The fragrances are designed to emphasize the hedonistic side of the most popular fragrances of the house: Angel, Alien, Womanity and A * Men, by combining the existing compositions with additional aromas of rum to spice them in their own way and with fine spirits.
By means of a special patented method of keeping the fragrant liquid in oak barrels for a period of six weeks, you get the unique mix of flavors in the same way as with the traditional preparation of fine spirits. Each of the fragrances is connected with a special drink for the purpose of obtaining perfume liqueurs: cognac is added to Angel, rum to Alien, Womanity is enriched with vodka and A * Men with whiskey.
“The beauty of Les Liqueurs de Parfums is the ageing process. Using insipriation from vintage spirits, each fragrance is ‘aged’ in wooden casks of toasted wood for six weeks. This carefully orchestrated contact between the eau de parfum and wood enables Thierry Mugler to enhance his original creations with smooth, sweet notes. By also heating the casks, the toasted tones add a hint of warmth to each scent”
Angel Liqueurs de Parfum
is a limited edition composed as a fusion of the classic Angel perfume and cognac. The beauty of this edition is reflected in its ripening/aging. Each of these compositions is left in the stand for six weeks in wooden barrels of cherry trees, just like high-quality drinks.
Besides the characteristic notes of Angel and intoxicating cognac, the composition adds honey-candied fruit and sensual amber. The perfume arrives as 35 ml Eau de Parfum limited edition.
Alien Liqueurs de Parfum
is a limited edition envisaged as a fusion of the classic Alien perfume and rum. The beauty of this fragrance is reflected in its ripening/aging. Each of these compositions is left in the stand for six weeks in wooden barrels of cherry trees, just like high-quality drinks.
The composition accentuates notes of Alien combined with rum and amber-woody notes. The perfume arrives as 35 ml Eau de Parfum limited edition.
Womanity Liqueurs de Parfum
is a limited edition composed as a fusion of the classic Womanity perfume and pure vodka. The beauty of this edition is reflected in its ripening/aging. Each of these compositions is left in the stand for six weeks in wooden barrels of cherry trees, just like high-quality drinks. On top of the Womanity composition enriched with vodka, one can also find dry fruit, spices, hazelnuts and intense woody notes.
The perfume can be purchased in 35 ml Eau de Parfum limited edition flacons.
A*Men Pure Malt Creation
is a limited edition envisaged as a fusion of the classic A*Men perfume and the finest whiskey. The beauty of this edition is reflected in its ripening/aging. Each of these compositions is left in the stand for six weeks in wooden barrels of cherry trees, just like high-quality drinks.
The perfume can be obtained as 100 ml Eau de Toilette limited edition.
