Designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons presented the PRADA Spring Summer 2024 Menswear Collection titled Fluid Form, with a fashion show held on June 18th, inside the Deposito at Fondazione Prada, during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection investigates the concept of fluid architecture around the human body, with the goal of achieving complete bodily expression through the essence of the clothes themselves. The shirt is at the heart of this investigation, acting as the starting point for a transformative trip that includes suits, raincoats, active sportwear, and reporter jackets. The collection reimagines and reconstructs construction techniques and ideas, embracing simplicity as a base while conveying a concept of expansion and amplification, a delicate balance between silhouette and materiality. The ultimate goal is to build an ongoing awareness of the body and its liberation.
