Pharrell Williams presented his debut collection for Louis Vuitton on Tuesday, June 20th, during the first day of the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The collection revolves around the sun as a symbol of opportunity, responsibility, and personal growth. Williams sees the sun as a universal source of life, radiating energy and healing that unites people from different cultures and backgrounds. Inspired by this guiding light, the collection incorporates sun-inspired elements throughout, from graphic representations of rays to warm color palettes and shimmering embellishments. The fashion show was set on the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, serving as a metaphorical connection between Paris and Virginia, Pharrell Williams’ home state.
