Luxury house CHANEL presented its Cruise 2023.24 Collection last week in a Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles. The brand unveiled backstage images of models getting ready to walk the runway and the closer look at Cruise 2023.24 makeup and beauty trends. The beauty looks perfectly match Virginie Viard’s designs.

The collection captures colourful, joyful and elegant world, from the glamour of the 1920s and 30s to the rhythm of the 1970s and 80s. Designer Virginie Viard said “The idea is to offer a breath of fresh air, a voyage, a light-hearted and happy fantasy“. For the season Chanel reimagines the brand’s codes with rhinestone-covered mini-shorts and jumpsuits, embroidered bustier and little tank tops, 1960s-inspired suits, bathrobes and casual pyjamas, 1930s-style shoes and their disco variations, crêpe de chine and terrycloth, swimsuits, wrap-around tops, legwarmers and evening dresses.

Complexion – Using the brush 2-IN-1 FOUNDATION BRUSH FLUID AND POWDER N°101, apply LES BEIGES WATER-FRESH COMPLEXION TOUCH. Correct facial imperfections with LE CORRECTEUR DE CHANEL and RETRACTABLE DUAL-TIP CONCEALER BRUSH as needed. Apply POUDRE UNIVERSELLE LIBRE powder to the t-zone and cheekbones. Apply the LES BEIGES CRME BELLE MINE ENSOLEILLÉE to the cheeks with the FOUNDATION BRUSH N°100 to structure the face. Using the BLUSH BRUSH N° 110, apply a touch of freshness to the cheeks with JOUES CONTRASTE OUES CONTRASTE 260 ALEZANE or 71 MALICE.
Eyebrow – Use DUAL-TIP BROW BRUSH to brush the brows. Fill in with STYLO SOURCILS WATERPROOF small fine strokes. Add a litlle depth to hairs with GEL SOURCILS TRANSPARENT.
Eyes – Apply and blend the STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF 20 ESPRESSO around the eyes. Using RETRACTABLE DUAL-ENDED EYESHADOW BRUSH N°200 apply the lighter color (high on the right) of LES 4 OMBRES 268 CANDEUR ET EXPERIENCE all over the eyelid. Apply and mix the darker colour (on the right) inside the socket line. Use the lightest hue of LES 4 OMBRES 202 TISSÉ CAMELIA (high on the right). Using Le STYLO OMBRE ET CONTOUR 04 ELECTRIC BROWN, trace the lower inner eyelid rim. Apply a lot of mascara NOIR ALLURE 10 NOIR on the upper and above lashes.
Lips – Using LE CRAYON LVRES 158 ROSE NATUREL, contour the lips. Using the DUAL-ENDED LIP BRUSH N° 300, apply ROUGE ALLURE 206 ILLUSION all over the lips.
Nails – Prepare with a coat of LA BASE CAMÉLIA. Use LE VERNIS 111 BALLERINA and LE VERNIS 101 INSOMNIAQUE to set up French manicure. Fix and add shine with LE GEL COAT, and finally moisturise with LA CRÈME MAIN.
