Creative Director Kim Jones presented the DIOR Men’s Spring Summer 2024 Collection titled “From New Look to New Wawe”, with a fashion show held on Friday June 23th, during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.

The collection is a fusion of diverse fashion influences, from Yves Saint Laurent’s silhouettes to Gianfranco Ferré’s embroideries, creating a collage of pop iconography. It defies conventions by seamlessly blending tradition with subversion, transitioning from feminine to masculine, salon to street, and classic New Look to rebellious New Wave.
Kim Jones intertwines his personal journey with Dior’s rich history, reimagining and transforming Yves Saint Laurent’s silhouettes for a fresh interpretation. The collection embodies crisp and playful modernity, combining practicality with luxury, while pushing the boundaries of menswear through symbolic techniques such as tweeds and embroideries.
It reinterprets Yves Saint Laurent’s tailoring legacy, incorporates inspiration from the Lady Dior bag, and features a diverse range of bags and accessories that marry ancient traditions with contemporary elegance. Ultimately, the collection encapsulates the essence of elegance and innovation, paying tribute to the past while embracing the spirit of the present.
