Luxury house CHANELunveiled its latest Métiers d’art collection that was inspired by the influential artistic capital of Senegal, Dakar. Creative Director Virginie Viard has chosen the former Palais de Justice in Dakar as a backdrop for the show, stating that it is one of the most beautiful venues the brand has ever presented a collection in.
Among the stars who attended the show were supermodel Naomi Campbell, music star and brand ambassador, Pharell Williams, Gossip Girl’s Whitney Peak, Japanese actress and model Nana Komastu, model Charlotte Casiraghi, brand’s long time muse Caroline de Maigret, American musician, record producer and composer Nile Rodgers.
Celebrated French musician Sébastien Tellier was also among the star studded attendance at the show, joined by French actress Marine Vacth, Algerian-French actress Lyna Khoudri and many more.
