Set to debut in stores on September 3rd, this new line is poised to replace the brand’s current Lip Color franchise, marking a significant shift in the company’s approach to luxury cosmetics. The collection will feature lip liners starting at $46 and lipsticks priced at $60, aiming to bring a fresh appeal to Tom Ford’s beauty offerings.

According to Estée Lauder’s full-year 2024 financial report, the brand has experienced a decline in its makeup sales, particularly within its lip category. The Runway Lip Color launch, with Jolie at the helm, represents a strategic move to refresh the brand’s image and regain market share. Market research indicates that the preference for lighter, more hydrating lip products is growing rapidly. Recognizing this trend, Tom Ford Beauty’s Runway Lip Color aims to meet this demand with a formulation that promises both rich color and a luxurious, moisturizing feel.

Tom Ford Beauty describes the Runway Lip Color as delivering “decadent emollience and rich, fade-resistant color.” The campaign’s visuals, captured by iconic fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, will roll out alongside the product launch.
