NYX Professional Makeup is venturing into blocky terrain with its newest limited-edition release, a pixel-perfect beauty collection created in collaboration with A Minecraft Movie. Bridging cosmetics and gaming, the partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures taps into the playful, DIY spirit of Minecraft and reimagines it through NYX’s signature colorful lens.

Ditching traditional packaging for cube-shaped charm, the collection includes whimsical items like the “Cheeky Mob” Highlighter Balms, “Rare” Highlight Balms, and the “Fat Oil Slick Click” Lip Oil. A matching compact mirror rounds out the lineup, each piece visually referencing the pixelated design language that Minecraft fans will instantly recognize.

The collection’s launch aligns with the upcoming April 4 theatrical release of A Minecraft Movie, starring Jason Momoa, Jennifer Coolidge, and Jack Black. In the film, the characters are pulled into the game’s distinctive cube-shaped world and must navigate the blocky unknown to find their way home. NYX’s campaign echoes this sense of playful transformation, inviting makeup lovers to craft their own looks, pixel by pixel.

“At NYX Professional Makeup, we lead by bringing together communities through artistry and innovation,” said Denee Pearson, Global Brand President of NYX Professional Makeup. “We are thrilled to once again partner with Warner Bros. to celebrate the release of A Minecraft Movie. We champion creativity with this partnership by merging gaming, makeup and pop culture lovers with products authentic to the Minecraft fanbase.”

Products in the NYX x Minecraft collection range from $11 to $20 USD and are now available via NYX’s official website. With bold colors, game-themed names, and packaging that feels more like collectible art than makeup, the line blurs the boundaries between digital culture and physical product.
