Drake ’s Better World Fragrance House has officially entered the eau de parfum space with the launch of Summer Mink, a scent designed to balance warmth and freshness through a layered, sophisticated composition. Summer Mink marks Better World Fragrance House’s first eau de parfum and launches exclusively at Ulta Beauty this spring.

The fragrance is built around a rich Amber Woody base, opening with bright notes of Italian citrus and aromatic sage. As the scent develops, a heart of Jasmine Sambac adds a warm, spicy floral touch, while a foundation of vetiver and creamy musk anchors the composition with depth and sensuality. Designed to capture opposing forces, light and dark, cold and warm, the scent aims to create a dynamic and balanced fragrance experience.

Reflecting this duality, the Summer Mink bottle features a striking design. A deep navy sphere sits balanced atop a sharp, rectangular base, visually representing the union of contrasting elements. “Summer Mink was inspired by a yin yang principle of fusing warm, creamy base notes with cold spices and sparkling citruses,” explained Michael Carby, Senior Perfumer at Givaudan. The composition, Carby added, was crafted to embody a multinational spirit and a vision for a “Better World.”
Lori Singer, President of Parlux Ltd., emphasized the significance of this release in the brand’s partnership with Drake. “This launch marks an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Drake, driven by a shared passion for innovation, quality, and design,” she said.
Summer Mink follows the success of Carby Musk, the brand’s fragrance oil launched in early 2024. Crafted with a combination of Lily of the Valley, Ambergris, Oakmoss, Skin Musk, and Amber Woods, Carby Musk established the brand’s signature style, focusing on nuanced, personal scents designed to evolve on the skin.
Available now through the Better World Fragrance House webstore and set to hit Ulta Beauty later this spring, Summer Mink (3.4oz) is priced at $148 USD.
