Designer Kim Jones and the experienced artisans at the FENDI ateliers continue to blend couture traditions with a human touch, making them approachable and lightweight while combining volume, fluidity, draping, and comfort. Rejecting the term “costume,” they embrace a gentler approach that empowers women via clothes, looking for a pliable quality that not only allows for freedom in how garments are worn but also produces a tactile experience.

The collection conveys a sense of simplicity while concealing intricate details. Volume, draping, and sculptural shapes are emphasized, which are created through precise and painstaking pattern cutting, resulting in clothes with only one seam. Second-skin silks, delicately knitted single-piece patterns, beautifully draped neoprene fitted furs, and Fendi chevron feathered shearlings transmit this extraordinary achievement quietly rather than loudly. The emphasis is not just on the visual spectacle, but also on the clothing’ practicality and wearability.
Delfina Delettrez Fendi‘s approach to high jewelry, which coexists nicely with the apparel, reflects the precision and emotion that distinguish the collection. The notion of the couture ensemble extends to the field of jewelry, introducing a series of one-of-a-kind pieces. These timeless pieces capture the essence of today while using an extraordinary Fendi color palette of white and yellow diamonds, as well as green, orange, and pink Padparadscha sapphires and spinels. Pink spinels from the collection, included in the ‘Undarum’ set, took forty years to acquire and are unlikely to be recreated in nature again.
